Being healthy also means feeling good in interpersonal relationships, and knowing how to take care of oneself and others.
“CUltuRIAMOCI” is part of the macro-area "culture as care" because it aims to highlight the role of culture as a determinant of the psychophysical well-being of people and as a tool to promote the processes of encounter, relationship and inclusion.
Promoting health means motivating people to choose healthy lifestyles in an informed and autonomous way, both at the personal and community level. "Culture as cure" because we believe that prevention and health promotion can also be done through cultural initiatives to:
- influencing the social determinants of health: improving social cohesion, reducing inequalities and injustices
- encouraging health-promoting behaviours: promoting healthy lifestyles, countering health-related prejudices and involving disadvantaged or hard-to-reach groups
- prevent diseases, increasing physical and mental well-being
- support care and care, including increasing our understanding of health.

World renowned Turkish digital artist. The artist combines photographs taken by photojournalists in critical areas of the world with images taken from the web, which merge in a unique way, producing a new reality that reflects the schizophrenia of the contemporary world. With his art he tackles current themes: war, poverty, immigration, drought are directly confronted with their opposite, with images most often patinated and taken from the world of advertising, in order to make the viewer reflect above all on the existing disparities between privileged and oppressed realities, in the desire to strike consciences in order to awaken them from a spoiled and vicious torpor and peacefully open a breach in them.
As part of the event, the "#passadaqui" communication campaign will be launched, with the aim of promoting the events in the event and raising public awareness about “Health for All”, which is not just a point of arrival but a journey through villages, cities and towns, all over the world, in which every stage leads us to the final destination. Health for all is our direction towards a better future and must involve and support all people: from prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Health is a journey in stages: it is constant research and commitment. For himself and for others.
The content of the campaign will use a series of images from the exhibition “Parallel Universes of War and Peace” by Ugur Gallenkus to also highlight the disparities between privileged and oppressed realities and to underline, as Covid-19 has taught us, the interconnection that binds us.
